The Dane County CARE Center is operated by Tellurian UCAN in conjuction with Dane County Department of Human Services under a contractual agreement to provide mental health crisis stabilization services.
The Dane County CARE Center will provide services to non-ambulatory adults (age 18+) meeting Class C non-ambulatory (CNA) requirements and who are in need of crisis stabilization services. This facility has an eight bed capacity. Dane county CARE Center accepts both voluntary admissions and 51.15 emergency detentions (post probable cause) from multiple counties. Referrals are screened and processed by the Emergency Services Unit at the Mental Health Center of Dane County. Out of county referrals are screened by DCCC.
